On-line course based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – for residents of Grindavík
This course introduces practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you:
manage negative thoughts and emotions
handle challenging situations more effectively
improve wellbeing in daily life
The course combines short lectures, discussions, and practical exercises via Teams. By practicing between sessions, you’ll increase your ability to use CBT in everyday life.
This course based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) was developed for people who experience anxiety, symptoms of depression or emotional discomfort and want to learn ways to improve their wellbeing.
CBT is an effective, practical and popular form of psychological treatment. The key message of the therapy is that thinking affects feelings. The goal of the course is to teach participants how to make changes in the way they think and act by using the skills of CBT.
Participants must have access to a computer or smart device to participate.
The course starts October 29th and ends December 17th.
